Spinal - ITC

Hello Sir, Madam,

I am shweta from India. I met accident before 10 years ago. Since then i cud walk with help of sticks and elbow sticks. Doctors said that i m suffering from Paraplegia. It has been affected on D12. They said my nerves hv been pressed and so there is not much possibilty of my walking. They said that there is no medicine or operation to make me normal as before. As per them, they said me to be independent as much i can, I slogged 6 years, but cudnt climb staircases which is the worst part i havr to face everywhere. Since then, i adopted wheelchai and got used to it. THere is much stiffness and rigidity in my legs but i find no problem for that. They are heavy at the times and i caNt fold or straight my leg at some point.I cannot straight my leg, if i can it will rebounce in 5 secs.

Before some days, there was invention of Chip impant. I met doctor and he said that there will be chip placed underneath skin , around abdomen which will helps to loosen my leg muscles and later on exercise will be much more easy to do.

I have still second thought for that. I please request you to suggest ur views in this matter. Whether i go for implant operation or not? is it beneficail to me or not? do i wait for some more invention?

Please enlighten ur views and suggestion in this matter.I m really confused.

Thanking You,
Yours Truly,
Regards,

Shweta.
