just yesterday while i was cleaning my room the upper part of my lip started to itch, so i itched it. i only realised this morning when i awoke tiny clusters of bumps on my left upper lip that itched terribly and seem to be growing when i itch it. can anyone help me? i dont want to make things worse or i dont want to get melodramatic over something that isnt serious.

not sure...could possibly be hives, but do yo remember anything that could have triggered this?

apply cool compress on lip, maybe use some aloe (or calamine lotion, though i prefer aloe)
see if it goes down, otherwise go see a doctor if this stays for longer.

and strangely enough, if you massage the area between your shoulder and your neck (acupressure point) it'll help the reaction calm down a little

Don't scratch anything on your face....you don't want to cause a scar or problem that will mar your looks!! Just go and wash your face with cool water and an clean washcloth.

The itch will go away.....

It could be the start of a cold sore. They start out with little bumps, and get itchy or tingly sometimes. Try your best not to scratch or rub it, as that will only make it worse. Get to a drug store, and ask the pharmacist for his/her advice. Until then, you can try a paste of baking soda and water to stop it from itching. If it starts to spread and get worse, then you should see your Dr., to get something to stop it from spreading.
