okay...so...im 24 years old, and i started using secret clinical stregnth deoderant. well, 2 weeks ago i had a lump under my arm that i believed was an ingrown hair...until it kept growing and growng, finally, i had a PA look at in the ER. they had to lance it because it had abcessed. gross. anyway, i have continued to use a different antipersperant. now, i have 2 little lumps that feel like cysts under my right armpit. they formed 3 days ago. now, today, my throat hurts really bad and i feel swollen under my jaw (lymph nodes). they arent swollen out like golf balls but my throat is killing me. any clue? coincedence or is it the deodarent>? or do i now have lymphoma ??? im freaking out!!!! some one help me!!!

Sounds like purely a coincidence. When the cyst was lanced were you given antibiotics?

If you have a sore throat and swollen lymph nodes you need to be seen so that a strep test can be done to determine if you have strep.

yes. i was put on a broad range antibiotic, and the area they lanced is all healed now.

Did you take it EXACTLY as directed? Time for a return visit to your doctor for a throat swab.

i was on bactrim ds and yes, exactally as directed. finished it all. iv been off for almost a week now. i just feel awful
