sebaceous cyst or not?

It started out feeling like a stiff neck but, after two day, didn't go away. I looked in the mirror and saw a puffy spot on the back of my lower neck..upper back area. It doesn't hurt to touch it but, it has gotten bigger. Now, is the size of a large fist and looks like it it growing further down my back. I cannot sleep and it hurts to move my neck or head. I went to the clinic in my town and the dr. said it looked like a sebaceous cyst. I have googled that kind of cyst but, it doesn't sound like it is what I have. Is there anything else that it could be?

Seems like you should go to the emergency room and have it cleaned out....

blackpanther42 disagrees: emergency room..clean it out? That would be a surgical procedure not done in the ER.
bushg agrees: balancer...if her doctor did not give a referral or a plan of action...the ER would be the best place to go ....

I know a woman who went to the emergency room last week and had a large infected cyst cleaned out.

This is a Sabaceous Cyst, one that takes a outpatient surgery. I'll see the dr. tomorrow.
