    Rash bumps vagina anus
About 5 days ago I had a small cut on the area of skin between my vagina and anus. Since then it has grown to a rash and bumps and itching all over my genitals from the clitoris to my anus. Since last night quite a few more bumps have shown up. When I pee and it hits that part of the skin that has this rash and it burns very badly. When I poop, because it stretches the skin it hurts somewhat as well. I would just like to know what you might think it is. I used neosporin which did not really help the problem just kept it the same. I started using an A and D oitment and it has helped with the pain a little, but it seems to be spreading it everywhere instead.

Did you wash that peri area very well with soap and water ? Of course, every time you get fecal matter near it, in it, then it is going to get worse.

What did do, immediately when you saw or felt that cut in your peri area ?

Yes I washed it with soap and water, then cleaned it with hydrogen peroxide as an extra measure. When I felt it was bleeding and a little bit sore. Now there are bumps everywhere on my genitals including on the cut.

hi there, its better you consult a doctor now - its better early before it gets any worse( it may save you money even). That area is prone to infection esp. if the integrity of the skin is compromised.. . if you're not comfortable seeing a doctor, then keep it always clean... you may not wash it with Hydrogen peroxide... better wash it with just neutral/mild soap instead... or I suggest chlorhexidine/betadine solution... still if you're not comfortable... I suggest you start antibiotics... u can take Augmentin (Amoxicillin + Clavulanic Acid) 625mg 2x a day for 1 week. However, if you're allergic to penicillin-based antibiotics, try Clindamycin or Ciproflaxacin instead..

Good topical advice, kc, but please do not attempt to prescribe on this site.

Did you get an answer from your doctor about this? I have almost the same symptoms:
Started with a cut on the perineum between anus and vagina, Gyno told me to put Neosporin on it. The mixture of that and sweat from basketball practice made me break out in pimples that are very sore/painful. The rubbing of those has made the whole area very irritated and red/swollen. I'm going to see my doctor tomorrow morning but freaking out because everything I find online points to Herpes, but it's impossible that I have that. Neither my partner or I have EVER been exposed to it (We've been together for almost a year). I'm just stressing out about what this could be, and driving myself nuts trying to find a solution...
