hi there, its better you consult a doctor now - its better early before it gets any worse( it may save you money even). That area is prone to infection esp. if the integrity of the skin is compromised. . .if you're not comfortable seeing a doctor, then keep it always clean... you may not wash it with Hydrogen peroxide...better wash it with just neutral/mild soap instead...or i suggest chlorhexidine/betadine solution...still if you're not comfortable...i suggest you start antibiotics...u can take Augmentin (Amoxicillin + Clavulanic Acid) 625mg 2x a day for 1 week. however, if you're allergic to penicillin-based antibiotics, try Clindamycin or Ciproflaxacin instead..
