pregnant or menopause ?

1 Answer ok, i have been having lighter periods for the last 5-6 months( they are right on time, NOT taking bc) lasting for 2-3 days unlike before 5-6 days. I have been getting cramping on the first day of my period but lasting for a few hours. I also been feeling strange sensations in my stomach,feeling tired and wanting to sleep alot, been getting mood changes, and the ring around my nipple as gotten a bet larger. I have taking a pregnancy test about 5 months ago and it was negative, I am 30 years old and been with my boyfriend for the last 6 years |

| Since this is a fairly recent change to your cycles, and is ongoing, it would be wise to see your doctor for a check-up. You could do another pregnancy test, as that could be a possibility, but you would need to see your doctor regardless so they could just do one in office for you. Perimenopause can sometimes start early on and last a number of years, and that can also be checked as well. They will do some blood work, which will allow for a number of things to be checked, including hormone levels, and they may also do an ultrasound as well. | ||||
