I'd find a different doctor... young people can have strokes, or heart attacks. Particularly if they are fat, out of shape, have undiagnosed circulatory issues, high blood pressure etc...

Young... only means your are LESS likely to have that... but more than a few young people actually still do.

Sudden numbness on one entire side of your body isn't like having a leg go to sleep.

Thank you.. im not over weight or heavy.. so I'm going to count that out.. but the only thing the doctor could tell me is it sounds like MS.. which really scared me a friend had gotten it at the age of 22 and now I am 22.. so I'm going to have to go toa really good doctor... also what do you think about this.. I was just informed when I was born I had slight case of scoliosis (sorry on spelling) but where you have a slight curve in your back.. now never got it checked into sense I was born but never had any problems ao I think my back seems to be stright no curve at all but maybe a pinched nerve from this can cause numbness on one side? Thank you so much for your respond!

Proper diagnosis requires a thorough medical history and examination. Smoothy has provided you with the best advice... find a different doctor. I can understand your concern and need for information but guessing toward possible causes isn't going to help.
