sharp pain in right side

all of a sudden i been geting sharp pain in my lower pelvic region going into my side and stomach and going pee makes it hurt worse what can the cause be also i took extra strength excedrin and it still not working

I have no medical training but kidney stone or appendicitus are possibilities.
