I used to have allergies when I was small - Septrin, tinned fish. Both would result in hives, with Septrin the damage so bad it would require hospital attendance.

The last few years I've had weight gain, asthma symptoms, IBS symptoms and have narrowed it down to alcohol, white flour (now it looks like wholemeal is also starting to react), particular flowers, and as from last night, cats. The result on whether inhaled or swallowed bring about the same results. Inhalation - coughing, choking, sneezing, streaming eyes - the swallowing - cramps, diarrhoea, bloating. Things just seem to be coming along and adding to the list and I don't find out until I get a reaction to something that never bothered me before. Has anyone else had this happen and knows what to do about it?
