whats wrong with my husbands body?

My husband jerks and jumps in his sleep. He even cracked his back he jumped so hard. He also is having increased trouble breathing latley. I know he is trying to lose weight but I am worried about his health. He complains of poor leg circulation and his arms and legs go numb. He seems to live in the bathroom now and hes is only 20. He refuses to go to the doctor because he is afraid that they will sya he has diabetes like every other male in his family. What should I do and what's wrong with him?

If your husband is overweight he could have a condition known as sleep apnea. With this condition his body will jerk and react because it is lacking oxygen to his extremities. (arms and legs). A doctor having him complete a sleep study could determine this condition easily. This can be a life threatening condition and should be treated.

When you state he "lives in the bathroom" is he urinating more. Is he taking any type of diet pills? These sometimes contain large amounts of diuretics (water pills) that make you urinate away extra fluids.

I would have him get a medical evaluation. If he does have diabetes, he is only hurting himself more by not getting treatment.

Get him to a doctor, even if you have to drag him. Its that important.
