    Lumps on my neck
Hi, I have lumps on the back of my neck for 5 months now. I have recurrent tonsillits and cold allergies, my lumps on the back are becoming alarming to me since it started to one to 3 lumps then continued popping out going up to my hairline. I went to the doctor 2 months ago but he said it was muscle strains/knots. At first I thought it was just swollen lymph nodes but how come its been 5 or 6 months but still it does not go away? One thing more, I have experiencing head ache every time I wake up in the morning... Does anyone have experience this?or does anyone have an idea about this? Thanks!

This might sound absolutely nuts since you obviously weren't there for my orientation with my chiropractor but have you thought about seeing one? Sometimes your spine needs to be realigned so that everything works the way it's supposed to. It boosts your immune system BIG time and I used to have headache's ALL the time. Now I rarely get them. I know this wouldn't do any good for lumps on your neck but when I saw recurrent tonsillitis, allergies and headaches it was the first thing that came to mind.

Your lymph nodes are not on the back of your neck so that is not the cause. If your doctor said it was just muscle knots that could cause headaches but personally I would get a second opinion, there are a lot of doctors that do not know what they are doing, unfortunately, and your life is too important to trust just one. Good luck.

Hmmm... Your answer makes me wonder, WildAngel... I'm no expert about medical things, but are you sure there are no lymph nodes located on the back of a person's neck? Please see the information on the following link. Lymph Nodes of the Occipital Region - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing, Anatomy Illustration Also, do you think that it would be a good idea to be diagnosing anything medical via this site? I don't think that would be a good idea. The only place that a person can be getting a proper diagnosis for something medical would be from a doctor who can see the patient in person.

I will agree that getting a second opinion would be good.

Just thought that I would ask...

    Thank you!

Just to clarify , I did not diagnose anything. A diagnosis would be labeling a problem by a set of symptoms and as you can see I did not name anything wrong by these symptoms that were given. If that was unclear or confusing to anyone I do apologize.
