Looking for miracle cure for my hip osteoarthritis.
I have been diagnosed with severe osteoarthritis of the hip joint 4 weeks ago. I am only 32, so it was a bit of a disappoitment for me, that I already have an uncurable disease. At least doctors think so, because they rely on science.
However I don't believe there is no cure on the world for it. I am looking for someone who did cure it despite of other disbelievers. I am not trying to get rid of the pain. I am questioning myself, how can you make your body start thinking of rebuilding that lost cartilage.
Is there anyone else who agrees with me?
Is there anyone else who doesn't want to hear about the vegetable diets, glucosamine, pain relieving pills or hot baths?
Is there anyone who is experimenting with rebuilding the cartilage?
Try mainly Hylaronic acid, vitamin D3,
600 mg calcium, 300 mg magnesium(--check if okay to take if you are on any prescription meds. especially heart meds.)
Omega 3, linoleic and alpha-linolenic acids are also suppose to be good. Omega for bone thickening is being studied and has this caution....
Although omega-3 - the fatty acid found in fish oil - may prevent cartilage destruction, it also increases bone thickening, which may itself lead to osteoarthritis. The team want to make sure that the effects of bone thickening do not outweigh the benefits of omega-3 in preventing cartilage destruction.
Thanks for the response. I have read a lot of information about arthritis, I already have many supplements at home, but no one suggested the hyaluronic acid before. Thanks again, it's a very valuable new information. I checked the google and it is something I will include in my diet.
Do you have any information about shock waves used for treating osteo in people?

Hi, I am also 32 having the same problem. Can you . help me by telling (( edited )) me all the ways to be active and avoid further damage.
32 is very young to have hip OA. There could be an underlying diagnosis such as avascular necrosis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, legg calf perthes disease, etc, etc. I'd recommend consulting an Orthopaedic Surgeon who is board certified by the ABOS (American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery). He/she could look for reasons and guide your choice of therapy. Surgery should be a last resort however conservative measures have been fairly unsuccessful.
Oh, one more thing... make sure you get two or three opinions!
Message to sakthipec about how to stay active.
Honestly, I don't know much from my own experience, because I am 95% active compared to the past, despite of the fact, that my bone is severely damaged. In my case there is no cartilage left, the head of the bone is flattened with bone spurs around it. I must be lucky, that I don't experience much pain. It comes and goes, but most of the time I walk normally, without limping, and I didn't need a cane yet. I don't know how much longer I will feel like this.
I believe in eating antiinflammatory food and avoiding the "BAD" food for a bit of a pain relief, but this doesn't rebuild your cartilage on your one particular joint. And that is my point, I don't want to fight the pain, I want to find a cure for that disease.
I have read of some Prolotherapy on internet, but don't have much information about it yet.
I've also read of some wave therapy (it probably uses electricity) but also didn't try to find out more yet.

Answer to manchurian.
I see your point, that was the first thing I said when I was diagnosed. I am too young.
From better books I found out that osteoarthritis may affect even young children, however it is rare compared to the number of older patients. It is not exclusively a disease of older people and the reason is not known. The reason is not only the age, the genes or previous injuries. As a matter of fact, I don't fall into any category of "traditional" reasons to have OA. Therefore I only presume at this moment that I must have been born with one hip a bit different than the other one. (I might be wrong, I keep searching)
I went through blood tests, bone scan and MRI and I don't have the reumatoid arthritis. I don't have lime disease and so on, and all these tests showed so far was OA of that single joint.
I live in Canada and no therapy was suggested to me so far. It's probably because I don't have much symptoms yet. I do everything on my own, the supplements, the diet...
Thanks for your response.
ur 32 and disappointed i am bleady 22 and i am facing bilateral avascular necrosis from 3 years due to a mother ing gym instructor who gave me steroids without my knowledge. now my pos is worsen and i am getting psychologically depressed expecting for a miracle to escape from total bilateral(both) hip replacement at this age which would really restrict the movement for rest of my life.
please is there nebody who can help me in this world???
Wait a second, you said you didn't know what were you taking? Please explain, how could you be given those steroids...You are really responsible for what you eat.
I understand there are some younger people than me with more serious health problems than I have. This doesn't mean I can't feel disappointed about my situation. It really doesn't make me feel HAPPY that I have OA. Period.
