long time lower back side pain sufferer

Hi,

I am an active 24 year old female (average height and weight) and have been experiencing a dull lower pain on the right side of back ever since I can remember. The pain is not that sharp or intense nor is it constant. I do not think that it is a pain for my back or spine, it more feels like it it would be from an organ. Mainly, I notice the pain if I drink too much caffeine (or sugar maybe), but there are other days when I feel the pain that I can not pin point any similarities. I remember when I was young if I would drink lots of soda I would especially feel the pain. I do not drink soda anymore, but I do drink coffee, and if I have more than a cup or two (especially on an empty stomach) I will usually feel it. Again, this probably only accounts for 75% of the time that I feel the pain.

I mentioned something to my doctor during a physical, but she just disregarded it as being gas that I am feeling in my back. All the normal blood work tests came back normal during the physical. I also was sent to have an ultrasound of my stomach since the doctor was suspisous of arotic valve or something like that. Everything ended up being normal with that test, and I would imagine they would have caught something else if it was on the front side of my body, but that I was feeling on the back right side (right past my hip)

Ever since I had mono in college, I realize that I always feel exhausted. I normally get 7 to 8 hours of sleep a night. Along with excessivie yawning, I feel like I could always use a nap and struggle to stay awake past 9 or 10 PM even if I do take a nap when I get home from work around 5 or 6 PM. It does not go unnoticed by my family, and they have been telling me that I need to go into a doctor to see why I am so tired. I am just wondering if perhaps these two are related and if there is anything that I should ask the doctor to check for this time around. I also sometimes notice that I feel light headed or that my vision darkens when I stand up.

Thank you in advance for your suggestions.
