Large bruises from scratching!

Hello,
my upper thighs sometimes itch so bad that I will scratch them on and off for hours...this results in huge, painful bruising....I bruise easily anyhow, but I'm very worried...It has happened about five times over the past few years..any ideas? At first I thought it was just a dust allergy...am I lacking in a vitamin or is it a health condition? I thought about getting tested for HIV since I feel I should anyway, but I might just be being overdramatic...??

ok, dont panic its not AIDS... you need to stop scratching when they itch, use a topical cream , like benadryl when this happens the bruising is caused by deep tissue damage that you are causing by the force of your scratching... and you may want to check to make sure you are not allergic to your laundry soap... see an allergy specialist.. take care...sawman''s wife

MOWERMAN2468 disagrees: you can not diagnose aids without testing, if you feel you need a test ran by a licensed doctor, do so.
