Hi im a new user,iv been gettin the same lump every three months behind my right ear..its very uncomfortable and i cant wear earrings.after a month it swells so much it bursts and puss seeps out.....im just wonderin wat causes this problem?????

the cause of this problem may be an irritated hair follicle . or better known as an ingrown hair,. these can be very small or very large . and most often come and go. .keep the area clean use a drying agent like peroxide or alchohol and a topical anti- biotic ointment to prevent any infection.. just let you family dr. know they do make a topical med, to help prevent them.. take care
