Kidney Stones during Pregnancy

I am 37 weeks pregnant. I have had a UTI for at least 1 1/2 weeks. I was finally diagnosed with kidney stones Thursday. I spent the night in the hospital. My midwife mentioned inducing labor so they could remove the stones after baby is born, but then had a change of heart because she feels the baby would be too early. I have heard not to wait on kidney stones when accompanied by UTI. Which is more dangerous for the baby, being 3 weeks early or infection?
