irregular bleeding after hysterectomy

I am 28 years old and had a complete hysterectomy 5 months ago. I went 4 months without bleeding then all of the sudden I started cramping. The next day I started to bleed. It was only spotting but I didn't expect it to be more then that. I was told by my doc that I could have uterine cells left stuck to the cervix because the line is not clearly divided. I know that the reason that I'm bleeding is the left-over cells. That's not the problem. The problem is that my body is resistant to the treatment that my doc is giving me. He started me on PROVERA to stop the bleeding, but my body gets rid of it before it gets used. I have taken as much as 20mg with no detectable level in my blood stream. I was wondering if there was anything else I could do to get the bleeding to stop. I am willing to try anything. I didn't give up my ability to have children to control the super heavy bleeding I was having before so I could still be bleeding. I'm at a lose here. Please help me.

please seek a second opinion , in other words see another gyn. your doctor may be good, but i believe he or she has missed something and there are other hormone replacement drugs that can be used besides provera thats just the most common used.. take care
