Where do you live? Do you have access to a Shriner's Hospital in your area? My youngest son has had the benefit of a Shriner's Hospital and I highly recommend that place for any child who has any problem with bones and joints. Do not let this bend in the spine go uncorrected.

Also you should ask for an exact diagnosis - a thorough and exact physcial with all possible recommendations. Do NOT let this go by the wayside, because you do not want to hurt your daughter's feelings. Be her parent and not her friend about this condition.

With an exact diagnosis, you may be able to access other help, possibly from an organization such as MDA. You have to pursue this for your daughter's health. To not follow through is neglience.

I have some questions too. How old is the subject who has the bend in their back when bending over? I know of one or two ballerinas who are like that and have nothing wrong with their backs, it is just a product of all the exercise, double joints whatever that they are put through.

Sorry, but need more information on age, etc.
