You sound like a candidate for candidia yeast infection. This is throughout your body (it's nothing out of the ordinary) and must be addressed and properly treated or you will keep getting more yeast infections and sore throats. There are medicines to rid your body of the yeast. Basically it has been building up in your body for years. It was nothing you did to encourage this growth. It will take a few weeks to clear out of your system though and you will be ill less often if at all anymore once the yeast overgrowth is gone.
