Blurred Vision and headaches

Last night when I was playing games on the computer I found myself suddenly unable to see properly - I had this round blob in front of wherever I wanted to look (kind of like I'd been staring at a bright light for a while, which I hadn't). Then I seemed to get a zig-zag blur at the corner of my eye as well. It lasted about half an hour, then suddenly disappeared again. Then I watched some tv and I was fine but then it came back. I went to bed thinking my eyes might have been tired, but I had blurred vision again when I woke up this morning.

The other thing is that I have had a slight headache for a few days (which I put down to stress) but today it seems to be gone, except for when I cough and then it feels like my temples want to explode outwards.

I've never had blurred vision before and I'm not enjoying it at all. I'm wondering what it could possibly be. I have a doctors appointment for Monday which is the earliest I could get...

I used to have 20/20 vision until I started playing the video games and I would start to see the zig zags and the motions of the game in my head after I was done playing. My vision went down hill and I would get headaches. Also the computer moniter is way brighter than you realize. You might want to turn the brightness down some.

I'm not completely sure it's the computer monitor - I have never experienced this in all the years I have been using computers...and I've been on the computer all night tonight with no problems.

The blurred vision seems to have gone for now, but if it does come back in the next few days, I will definitely bring it up with my Doctor on Monday.
