Foot Pain

I have been having a lot of pain near the top, inside of my right foot. The arch is OK and the toes are fine, but the interior, top portion of the foot hurts quite a bit to walk. Any suggestions for what this might be or how to alleviate the pain? It began to hurt after returning from a 30 minute brisk walk, so I'm not sure if that aggravated a probelm or not. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Troy.
I am Dr. Ahmed an ER Physician.
It seems that you are complaining from inflammation of some parts of the small sized connective tissues around the bones in foot.
Start using Advil (on shelf medicine) if you are not complaining from stomach ulcer disease and use it three times after meals.
Keep your foot always warm by immersing it in warm water or using grip bandage.
Try to avoid standing and walking on the foot for long times.
Hope i have been of some help for you.
Regards.
