    Elevated liver count
My son apparently has Benign acute myositis. His liver count is 696 when I understand it should be under 41. Is this normal and are there certain things we should avoid or enforce during this time. Also when should it get back to normal?

Milk thistle is great for the liver. It helps it restore itself. Make sure you get from reputable manufacturer. Most natural products take at least 6 months for full results.

If an enzyme count is way above the normal range then no, that's not normal. You should really contact your son's treating physician. For potentially very harmful situations, the internet is not the answer.
