Discomfort in the left side of my stomach

Two weeks ago I had severe pain in my waist in the left side. Thinking it might have been a muscle pain I did not treat it. The pain went away but since then I have had different sensations in the left side of my stomach that I did not have before. No pain, just a slight discomfort and extra sensitivity. Any information would be appreciated.
