I go to a gasteronologist to help treat me for it. It's a nasty disease, and some people don't even realize it. I was diagnosed a year ago when I was 14, and I am 15 now. There are medicines to help heal the ulcers inside your body, and it's important to stay away from foods with alot of fat, grease, or sugar (basically fast food!!) because it can worsen your condition. A regular doctor won't be able to help you much though, I suggest you get referred by your family doctor to a specialist in the field of gasteronology, like I did! I thought I was going to die before I was diagnosed because of my rapid weight loss and weakness, but I have gained several pounds since, and I am now a happy, healthy teenager. The gasteronologist will most likely suggest an endoscopy, where they take a little microscope thing with camera and take pictures of your insides! Don't worry, I've had all this done, and there's nothing to worry about as long as you get yourself treated before anything worsens! | it is also bad to eat protein, jams, wheat, coffee, they have special and very specific diets for this disease. |

include abdominal pain, diarrhea, and rectal bleeding. Ulcerative colitis is closely related to Crohn's disease, and together they...of inflammation of the intestines called Crohn's disease.
