    Blood In My Puppy's Stool
Hi I'm not sure what to say but today I noticed blood in my puppy's stool and she has had diarrea for at least 3 days but I never noticed it before. She eats but not what is recommended she still hasn't had her shots but only because I can't afford it and she is a little over 13 weeks old and I'm just not sure what to do. She is still very active. If anyone can help me out and give me advice I plan on taking her to the vet asap. Is this the only thing I can do for her or is there something I can be doing till I get her to the vet. What might be causeing this. Anyone who can help thank you I'm really desperate to help my puppy. Thank you

    Thank you,
    Kaleigh :(

Kaleigh, its like being a responsible parent. You are looking after, basically, a baby and need to get herhelp as soon as possible. I don't know what you want us to say because whatever we say won't make a difference to her getting the proper care right now.

So what does she eat ? You say not what recommended, who recommended and what ?

When you have a little body like that around, you really must pay attention to everything that is going on with them because their wellbeing is in your hands and heart.

    Hi K:
It sounds like your puppy has Parvo... a very contagious disease, that is picked up from outside. Your puppy needs a vet, and he needs one quick. They will put your puppy on IV fluids and try to keep him hydrated. Parvo has a terrible prognosis, but I have known some puppies that have made it due to early intervention. You should always have your puppies vaccinated. Call your local humane society for help if you cannot afford it. There may be some help that you aren't aware of. Good luck!
