Redness on penis

I have developed a small red patch on the tip of my penis. It appeared about two or three days after having sex with a new partner. The red patch does not change in size of shape but does appear darker and lighter at different times. The red patch is not painful and has caused no other symptoms, such as painful urination, blisters, or any sexual problems. I have look on the internet for matching symptoms and have found some that are close but not exact. I was wondering what it might be and how can I get rid of it.

Only a doctor can give you a definite answer. We can guess, but that's not going to help you. Go to the doctor and have it checked.

Good luck.

Well, Jeff Webb, not being able to look at your penis it is hard to say and we dont diagnose. If it isnt hurting, itching or appearing larger day by day and turning into a mess, then I would just go to my doctor and have him look at to ease your mind. You seem to be smart enough to do some research on your own, which is more then I can say for some posters with problems like yours.

Possibly a fungus.

More common than most are aware of.

Your doctor can give you some cream that will treat it and get rid of the symptoms, however, if it is a fungus, you will be using that cream for the rest of your life as there is no known way to completely eliminate this problem once you have it.

Seriously, get it checked out, and ease your mind.
