    Asthma with rib pain
    Hi I have been having this pain in right side for 2 weeks now it started with breast pain and I don't feel no lumps and I have yearly mamograms and now my rib is so sore I thought it was my asthma it hurts to bend over cough sneeze and its in one area like sometimes when I do bend it almost feels like a charlie horse in my lower chest or it feels like someone's fist is stuck between my ribs what could this be any ideas ?it hurts worse below breast bone but the whole right side of my rib cage is sore:(

    You should see your doctor he might want to do x - rays. I would like to also point out there are lots lots of muscles along your ribs. It is possible that you pulled muscles and they do take time to heal. There are so many other possibilities but the only way to figure it out is to go to your doctor and describe your symptoms and go from there. All we can do here is guess what your symptoms mean which could be of many. Physical examination is always best in this situation. Best of luck.
