    Anemia or just lazy?
I'm 16 and have recently been feeling extremely tired all the time no matter how much sleep I've had. I just have absolutely no energy at all, I used to enjoy going to the gym 3 or 4 times a week and now I hardly ever go because I'm just so tired and lack the motivation. My mum had anemia a few years ago, and I've looked up the symptoms which include the tiredness I've been feeling and lack of energy. Is it possible that I have anemia too or is it just that I'm lazy?

Go to your GP who will do a blood test to confirm if you have anemia.

If you are it can be rectified by taking iron pills daily, unless it is very severe in which case they may give you a coarse of injections.

I am sure if this is the case you will regain your strength and be able to return to the gym again.
