I am itching really badly all over I want to rip my skin off what could this be?

It all started with my breast, they were itching really badly but i didn' t think much of it because I just had a baby and my breast were itchy through out my pregnancy...but the baby is 5 months now....any how it went from my breast to my hands to my wrist my arms legs ankles my thighs my back and my head and it is really bad when i get in the bed at night I just want to rip all the hair off my scalp and rip my skin off it itches that bad I can't keep still...during the day it is okay still a little bad but I can deal with it...just tonight I noticed that the areas that I have been trying to rip off my body are really red not from me scratching but it looks like welps or hives...now I don't think it is an allergic reaction because I have never had one in my life and as far as I know I'm not allergic to anything.....but I would like a little advice...I already have to sleep with gold bond itch cream what else can i use because that is not working.........now as a african american woman and to be turning really red something is going on..I just don't know what...HELLLLLLLLLLP PLEASSSSSSSE..

Go to the Dr and get antibiotics, youproably have a infection in your blood stream that requires med's.

I Itched all over too!!!

I just got a bad allergic reaction to a black hair dye. It started with a lump on the back of my head behind my ear and under the skin on the back of my neck my neck under my hair. Then my scalp went crazy and I had to go to the dermatologist for a cortizone shot.

The Doctor said it can take up to 7 days for your body to react to a new allergy.

Do you have an itchy scalp? Is your scalp wet like an open wound? Do you have lumps under your skin on the back of your had and neck?

If so go buy a Peppermint Oil based leave in conditioner and leave it on your hair after you shower. It will help you make it through the night without itching. You can leave it in during the day to if you wear a head wrap or bandana.

And call a dermatologist to get a shot. My reaction took over a week in a half to develop so catch it before it gets worse.
