Allergy to Semen

Asked Sep 28, 2006, 02:28 PM — 1 Answer
I'm allergic to semen. I know there is a procedure where they can give you something like an allergy shot, but they inject you with a series of 10-15 different shots of the protiens in the semen that you're allergic to. The problem is that this is not done everywhere even though I read that the procedure is 95% effective. I would like to try this but I don't know where to start. My gyno told me to take a Benadryl before hand, but it doesn't really help much, and half the time it just makes me tired and I only want to go to sleep anyway. Is there anybody out there who's done this, and what does it cost? And how did you go about finding the right specialist, etc.
