allergies to water

I have questions about developing allergies to water. I have read several postings on this site and it sounds like there are people everywhere with this same concern. But, when I go into certain medical , they specifically state that there are less than 30 cases of aquagenic uticaria in the world.
The allergy doctors around here do not even test for water allergies. They think that I am insane. Where can somebody go to be tested for this or to see if it's the chemicals that are added to the water that are making me ill?

maybe ask your doctor to test for allergies to the chemicals that are usually in water - fluoride, chlorine etc... so what if they think you are crazy? persist! Just becasue there are only 30 cases of it recorded doesn't man someone isn't going to be number 31. If you really believe you have an allergy, you need to continue finding out more! best of luck
