Abdonimal Pain

I am a 27 yr old female and otherwise healthy. I have been experiencing some abdominal and stomach pain for the past few weeks on my right side. I went to the doctor 4 days ago and she said I was tender and if i had been in a little more pain would have sent me A&E. She gave me a letter for A & E if I needed to use it stating it could be my appendix or ovarian cysts. The pain is still there although I am not in agony it is uncomfortable I feel tired and a bit unwell. I'm not eating as much as I usually would and pass urine frequently. I went to A&E last night to get a scan but after a 7 hour wait without seeing a doctor I left again. Should I be concerned about this? I don't feel any better sometimes the pain will get worse.

Considering you've had the pain for a few weeks now and you're not really feeling well, you should probably go back to A&E for the scan. It might not be anything serious, but if it is your appendix you don't want to wait. Is there any chance you could be pregnant? You could have similar symptoms with an ectopic pregnancy.
