24 yrs old.excessive sweating.what's wrong?

My entire life i have always been HOT and the AC can never keep up with me. I don't get it. My thyroid is fine & I'm not obese. It also seems that I can never drink enough water. I don't drink pop, but i do drink about 3 gallons of water a day. My doctor has run test after test and still no answers. I just hope someone thinks of something my doctor hasn't...THANX!!

Hello majesticveiwz,

You say your doctor has performed all the tests by which I assume you have been tested for diabetes also.

If it is only your doctor that has performed these test, blood, urine etc, it may be time to ask him/her to refer you to a specialist which deals with this type of condition.

This condition is called, Hyperhidrosis but there is another condition called, Idiopathic hyperhidrosis, this is diagnosed when no cause can be found.

Neither I, or anyone else here can properly diagnose your problem. This must be done by the proper medical experts.

The sites below may give you more information about your condition:

I feel you should be aware also that drinking to excess can have its own problems too.

I am sorry I personally cannot be more helpful.

Good luck and I really hope your problem is soon diagnosed and treated.
