Please clarify my doubts for the following :

VOLUME OF AN HEXAGON = ?

TOTAL SURFACE AREA OF AN HEXAGON = ?

It is regarding my project works. Please clarify my doubts.

A hexagon does not have a volume - it is a 2d shape. The surface area can be calculated easily by splitting it into 6 identical triangles.

The area of a hexagon is given by

Where L is the length of a side. Try deriving it.

Or find the area of the six triangles in the hexagon and add them up. Of course, you should then have more information.
