This certainly isn't an equation. Could you clarify what the problem is?

Perhaps she means:



Natalie - first try multiplying both sides of the equation by n, and see if you can take it from there. Post back if you're still having difficulty, but be sure to show us what you've tried.

I think it's also possible she intended



and then "n = ?" to indicate "find the value of n"

Natalie, if my guess as to your original question is correct, modify ebaines' suggestion a bit: Multiply both sides of the equality by 24, and go from there. You'll get it.

the answer is by transposing 24 to the next side then n=24/4
