ok so in our math class our teacher has presented us with various cards. on each card there are 4 numbers. and all four numbers somehow equal to 24 in the end. except this one card. on it are the numbers: 9, 8, 7, and 2. this card has been stumping some of our top students and even our teacher. we just can't seem to figure it out. if anyone knows the answer if you would please post it and end out "misery."

p.s. you can either add, subtract, multiply, or divide to find 24, but i am beginning to think that you need to do other things to find this one out...

9*2=18
18+7=25
25-1=24

I don't think you can use the 7 twice, jkramer. (okay, i know the OP didnt say that but you can do it without using it twice!)
