Transpose the formula s=square root of t-q/t+2q to make t the subject and evaluate t when s=2/7 and q=2x10 to the power of 5

Express your answer in engineering notation correct to 2 significant figures

Please use proper grouping symbols. As is, your explanation could represent a dozen different problems.

Hello Jimmi2401. So this is the problem:


right? You really need to learn how to use parentheses and/or brackets to group terms. You should have written this as:

s = sqrt[(t-q)/(t+2q)]

OK - now that we have the problem properly defined - next step is for you to show us what you've tried so far to solve this, and where you are getting stuck. Then we'll be glad to help you out. But here's a hint: start by squaring both sides.
