    Pre-Cal trig
    A 30 ft ladder leans against the side of a house. At the point where the ladder and house meet, it makes a 72 degrees. What is the height of the house ?

    SOHCAHTOA

    sin x = opposite/hypotenuse

    therefore

    sin 72 = height of the house/length of the ladder
    sin 72 = height/30

    ...
