    logarithms stink
I was wondering if anyone that knows how to solve logarithms would be able to help me solve log2(x+2)
the second two is the base.
I know most of the rules I just can't seem to get the right answer.

Is this an equation? If so, then you left out the second part of it. If it's not an equation then there's really nothing to be done with it.

OH sorry... I need to figure out how to graph it, that was dumb of me.
The overall goal is to find the domain of the graph.
    Thanks!

The domain is the set of x-values that the function can take on. Keep in mind that it is a logarithmic function and the argument is x + 2.

OK so this time I am really trying to solve themm but I don't know how to.. I have couple of solutions but I don't think eighter of them is right: 25^x=18 log 25^x=log 18 xlog25= log 18 x=log 18/log 25 x=log 18-25 x=log (-7) but actually I am not supposed to solve it.. I am just suppose...

Logarithms [ 1 Answers ]

got stuck on this one... use the properties of logarithms to rewrite the expression in terms of log(base 10)of 3 and log(base 10) of 4. Then use log(base10) of 3 = 0.477 and log (base 10) of 4 =0.602 to approximate the expression. then these are the two I have to solve. a. log (base 10) of 16...
