Okay so from the first one

3x + 6y = -6

Divide this equation by 3 and rearrange for x, then use this x in your other equation. You will be able to get a value for why. Then you can finally use this value to get a value for x.

As Capuchin says, divide the first equation by 3 to get
X + 2y = -2. And the second equation is
5x - 2y = 14. Add these two equations to get
6x = 12, so x = 2,and fro the first equation we have
2 + 2y = -2, or 2y = -4, so why = -2
