Marriage in a courthouse

My Fiance' and I are planning to get married in a courthouse but do not know anything about it. We have been stressing on how to go about getting married in a courthouse.

We don't even know who we would need to talk to so that we can be married in one.

Does anyone here know anything about this type of situation?

Talk to the clerk in the office where you get the marriage license, Most places require the license to be gotten prior. You will make an appointment to see the judge, he says a few words, says man and wife and signs the license. about 5 minutes

Ditto Fr_Chuck. Just call the county court house where you reside (or google it) and they will tell you what you need and how much it will cost. You pick up the license, make an appointment with a judge and you'll probably be back in the car in 15 minutes.
