Hello nami. Honey, no one here can tell you absolutely whether you will have a love marriage or not. We aren't psychis and cannot predict the future. If someone tells you that they know for sure, they are lying to you.

Have your parents arranged a marriage for you yet? Is this man's parents willing to speak with your parents about an arrangement? Are your parents open to listening to them? I know the caste system can make this an impossibility at times. Is there anyone that you know who is admired and/or respected by your parents that might be willing to intervene on your behalf and attempt to help you with this?

Dear Namita,

My first response is how I can't help you because I have no real idea of how the Caste system really works. For me here in America, the closest I can come is "racism". To me it is repugnant, however, it is still rampant in the US. I wish it was not, but it is.

Let me tell you about arranged marriages:

Prior to my oldest brother's, Billy, wedding, my mom got together with a co-worker and created a plan for her daughter and my middle brother, Richie to meet. Rich was to take leave from the US Marine Corps after finishing school in North Carolina. He was coming to New York to be an usher at Bill's wedding and her daughter Bonnie would be his escort for the wedding. Great plan!

Except the US Marine Corps stepped in and said, no leaves will be granted. There's this war in Viet Nam and we don't want you running home to "Mommy."

So I was subbed for Rich and Bonnie became date for the day. Litterly 13 months later, Bonnie and I eloped. That was 42 years ago and I love her as much today as I did then.

Good luck
