No I stay at his place a lot but we can'tactually move in together due to his parents religious view, they would be very upset for us to live together before marriage.

No hurry, keep talking until you're ready. Do you work, or go to school?

It is hard for anyone to define when anybody is ready for marriage. I was married at age 22, and we've been together for over 3 decades. There is no magic age, but there are serious considerations that apply no matter how old you are.

Being ready includes being financially able to support yourself, preferably have money in the bank, the ability to pay your own way.

Having achieveable goals together, a healthy regard for eachothers aspirations, and a solid foundation have to be in place.

I know what the statistics say, and in my married lifetime, I've seen marriage failures at all ages for many different reasons. There is no age that you can say whether it will work or not.

Whatever you two decide to do, I wish you well.
