It all depends on whether you are willing to be involved in a poly relationship. Some people just love more than one person. If you are not willing to live that lifestyle then you and he have some decisions to make.

I was involved with a man , who was in a relationhip 25 years ago. He could not make a decision and I made myself unavailable for 25 years. He married the other woman. We started talking about 2 years ago and the same feelings are there for both of us. Now the situation is more complicated and I again let him go, This time she knows about me and the past. You can love two but I cannot share. The feelings do not go away and even if he does not act on them the feelings will remain. You(the wife) will always be sharing if he really loves her.
