    How much does getting married at the courthouse cost?
    My man and I are planning on getting married when he gets here in January. I just wanted to know how much it costs to get a marriage license and getting married itself. We are getting married at the courthouse so its not a huge wedding.

    Depending on what state you live in it could cost as little as $20. But under $100.

    I don't know how up to date this site is but I don't think it is more than a few years old.

    Each state has different rules on the marriage license, that is the fist step, it can cost up to 100 dollars more or less. Then the judge has a fee, this in my area runs about another 100 dollars.
