Congrats on the marriage!
To get married downtown chicago, you have both go to the lower level of the city building, get a marriage license, wait 24hrs, then come back & get married in marriage court down the hall from where you get your license.
you'll need ID & $30 to get the license (saying you are not related & not currently married).
then, after the state of IL's mandatory 24hr waiting period, you can go back to the city building & down the hall is a marriage court where you pay $15 to get hitched.
