| | | Pictures of our members I'm always curious as to what folk look like - and think a member gallery would be cool. Yes, a few have their own pic as their avatar, but not many... Don't be bashful, folks...and please don't let my ugly mug be the only pic in this thread | | | | | | |

Start my love.. I feel lucky - with having wonderful friends like all of you and my loved ones here - what more can a gal ask for!
I hope that I can work on some more coloring books and distribut them soon so that you can enjoy them with your families. I've been busy with making an inventory of furniture, appliances, chine, trinkets, jewelry, etc and I found a place that will sell the furniture Jaime does not want on commision for her,so that job is done. A lady at my bank also sold me an insurance policy that didn't need a medical checkup (she knows how sick I am) so that Jaime will not be burdened with all the costs that face her when the time comes. So, now I can enjoy my 'retirement' and family because the beurocratic crap is completed.
I also won a prize at a Pampered Chef party - Alexander got to draw the names, and he got mine for a small stoneware microwave browning dish - which his mom will use to make him super good ribs. The ladies I met there were also so nice and insisted on inviting me over - they said they wish they'd met me earlier, so it's been nice all around.
So, yes, I've been pretty lucky these last few days - kinda makes up for a lot of pain and inconvenience lately.
I even spent some time outside having coffe with the neighborhood ladies, which I usually never did because they seemed so stuck up. They are being really nice and offer to go to the store for me if I don't feel well. My ex looked out the window several times and looked like he was steaming - which made it all the better. Even his son helps me a lot.. so I guess he is a little lonlier than I am right now - poor boy.
I'm overtired and yacking a lot right now, but it's good to share here with my friends and I'm sure that you don't mind.
You all know I'll always be here for you when you feel like sharing.
Hope all is well with you and yours.. email me and let me know what you've been up to, OK?
Love ya!
EDIT: I notices a few typos, but was in a hurry and will not bother with spell checker right now... |

| Chery, just look at you! You look wonderful. You are blessed having such a great family and warm and loving friends. What a guy, that little Alexander! Cuddle time with these little ones and with our little furry ones is "special" time indeed. I am so glad you posted those photos. They were delightful! |

1/2 hour isn't really enough time for me. I like to plan at least 4 hours every day. |

Thanks hon. I always take my camera with me everywhere I go when with my family and get some super memories. Then of course, my cuddly cat has been my model for years. Going to work on a CD photo album for my grandson on Sunday so that he has his memories of Grandma. I know he'll remember that I taught him how to ride his first horsey (his mom), and blow his first soap bubbles, and drink out of straws. However, I had nothing to do with his learning how to throw some super temper tantrums - he's working real hard at the 'terrible twos' and I'm trying to teach his mom how to ignore them because he usually stops when he has no audience. But, my dear daughter is just such a softie when it comes to her first child - all we mothers are - and we pay for it. It's all in the name of love and we survive. Even though he does not talk much yet, he uses his super vocal chords to get attention - he's so cute! My neighborhood cats are also giving me a free concert the last few nights.. I just love animals and children. |
