| | | First Kiss I was reviewing a question from a young teen, and it was all about her first kiss.
How about you all, do you all remember your first kiss, from the boyfriend or girlfriend.
I can remember mine like it was yesterday. and it has been a couple years short of 40 years. I can still close my eyes and remember her face, and the fact she was so much sorter than me, she was standing on the step.
I guess part of the sad thing is that of course both moving on, one can never really talk to the other one or really anyone ( expect here where only millions will read it)
But do anyone else sometimes allow their mind to wonder back to times like this and just smile.
does anyone want to share a memory of that special time. Or do some of you not even remember it? | | | | | | |

| Pick up lines, that is scary, I remember when I went to work for the Justice Dept, they did a complete background on me, sent investigators to all my neighbors and employers for the past 10 years, college investigations, they even had interviews with "girls" from colleges and yes, had a list of lines I had used on them. I had to write a report on alot of the things from these reports explaining them, They had things from people I did not even remember ever happening |

I should also mention that my husband invoked the "3 date rule" for our entire marriage - no headache if it happened to be the third time we went out. Apparently it's some sort of unwritten rule. Our wedding anniversary was during his final hospitalization and on that day he held up 3 fingers - no one knew the inside joke and I laughed out loud. And he smiled back. | What a blessing to have had this sweet relationship with him. Thank you for sharing even more of your time with him. Warms the heart! So few enjoy this kind of bond with their spouse. It is refreshing to read such a great post.
That first kiss story was just a hoot!!! Loved it also. Funny story regarding the holding of the cigarette.........I was in a car pool when in college. The guy who drove most of the time held his cigarette like you described and would take short little inhales. Now my dad use to roll his own cigarettes when I was a child. He would take out the paper, tap in the tobacco, lick across the paper then roll it together and there was his cigarette. Now bear in mind, I am a little naive to this day and it wasn't until two years ago, a friend was over and we were reminiscing about our college days. She mentioned this guy and says he asks about me every time she sees him. We talked about his cool car and then I mentioned the cigs and how he would hold it and thought it was just cool because it was different than most. My friends eyes got wide as saucers and she said, "Reid (that is what she has always called me), you do know he was smoking pot, right?" I said, "No, no, he just rolled his own like daddy. I have seen daddy do that many times." She rolls her eyes and says, "Reid, no, I am telling you he was smoking pot." Well, you could have knocked me over with a feather. We laughed until we cried. I said, "Well, there was one time he told me I was to never ever smoke pot (being sort of a big brother type), but if I did, it was to only be with him, no one else. I could trust him but not others. Well, I laughed and just went on.......but......your story brought this story to mind. Since you have given me such a fun, sweet day with your post, I hope this has made you smile!!! |

| It was in one of those long silver tubes on the playground @ my school during lunch. I was in grade 2 and this girl Carla Tochinuk got 2 of her girlfriends to block either end of the tube with just me and her in it. She tried to make me kiss her but I refused (cause girls were still gross haha). Then the school buzzer went off and all the kids ran back to class, but they still wouldnt let meout. I didnt want to get into trouble, so I gave her a quick kiss and that was that lol. She went back and bragged and embarrased me, but I was glad I did it later on. Oh the memories! |

Okay, now you have to share some of those lines. Inquiring minds want to know. |

You sure did make me smile - wonder how much kids are missing right now by being so worldly at such a young age.
And I look back and wonder if I really was ever as stupid as I really was! |

| I know that most people think of 'romance of a sort' when asked about their first kiss... but I bet that most of us girls got their real first kiss from their Daddy!
My aunt told me that my dad knew I was going to be a girl (this was the time before ultrasounds) and that he got his wish. He was so proud of me and took me almost everywhere. And if he was anything like most parents, I probably got more kisses from him in the two years he was with me than I got in the past 10 years. Sure wish I could remember them.
I know where my grandson got his first kiss - it was right after he was born and it was from his Grandmother! I kissed his neck, his hands and his feet. I have not stopped smooching him since. Even though he's advanced to 'gimme five' hand claps now (he's almost 2), he still squeeks when I pucker up and has ticklish feet just like his mother.
You're right Chad... oh, those memories. |

| My favorite pick up line, even though it's cheesy;
"Excuse me, I seem to have lost my phone number, can I borrow yours?"
Love that line, simple, yet effective. |

I guess FrChuck isn't going to share HIS best lines -
This subject got me and my best friend reminiscing over the phone (she's moved out of State). We both have heard some amazing lines.
Her favorite is, he said "Do your eyes bother you?" She responded, "No, why?" He responded, "Because they sure bother me."
My favorite is - and I had forgotten all about this - I'm very blonde, this jerk came up to me and said (out of the blue), "Does your collar match your cuffs?" I had never heard that before, truly had no idea what he was talking about and didn't even know enough to be startled. I mumbled something and he wandered off to bother someone else. I guess the line worked on occasion or he wouldn't have used it but I can't imagine.
Not a line but my best friend was wearing a fall - do people still wear falls? - over her short hair and some guy admired her hair, patted her on the head, his ring got caught in her fall and he ripped it off her. She stood there in short hair and he stood with her hair dangling from his hand. I must admit I wasn't much help because I was hysterical with laughter. She still holds a grudge from that incident.
My NYC roommate had a very successful modeling career and had a huge suntan lotion campaign - we would go out and people would say, "You look familiar to me. Do I know you?" and she would act dumb and that would be the end of that. One time we were on an airplane and "he" had a magazine in his lap, open to "her" ad - and he still didn't get the connection - just thought she looked familiar. |

| My first kiss was when I was 6 years old I believe...and the guy put his tongue in my mouth!
I had no idea what I was doing but I tried to go with the flow. |
