The Castle, again, yup, again.

Okay kids, it's time to move back into the castle.

We've made a few more changes.

We now have a pool with a swim up bar, and of course the waiters, hi boys.

The piranahs didn't make it but the alligators are doing well, watch out though, they're hungry.

I've purchased a few guard dogs to roam the property, they only listen to my commands so please, don't try to leave, it's just safer if you stay put.

The rooms have all been cleaned and the torture chamber got a new coat of paint. Thanks for the help with that Sneezy, that was fun.

So come on in, sit by the fire, let Egor get you a drink.

Oh, the duck is trying to regrow her feathers, I think we should let her, I need new pillows for my bed.

Queen Alty is waiting........

Oh crap, there goes the phone ringing....don't want to answer it....I will have to talk and my HEAD HURTS!!!! Don't they know that?????

EDIT: right, a saleswoman; "Do you have insurance......?" SLAM!
Here's a remedy for those phone calls too:

Quote:
=: How to stop Telemarketers :=

The phone rang as I was sitting down to my evening meal, and as I answered it I was greeted with "Is this Karl Brummer". Not sounding anything like my name, I asked, "Who is calling?"

The telemarketer said he was with The Rubber Band Powered Freezer Company or something like that.

Then I asked him if he knew Karl personally and why was he calling this number. I then said off to the side, "Get some pictures of the body at various angles and concentrate on the blood smears and bloody footprints."

I then turned back to the phone and advised the caller that he had entered a murder scene and must stay on the line because we had already traced this call and he would be receiving a summons to testify in this murder case.

He protested that he was just a telemarketer and knew nothing about any murder.

Ignoring his protestations, I questioned the caller at great length as to his name, address, phone number at home, at work, cell phone number, who he worked for, Social Security number, driver's license number, had he ever been arrested, how he knew the dead guy, how long had he known Mr. Brummer; where he had been, and could he prove where he had been, about one hour before he made this phone call.

The telemarketer was getting very concerned, confused, and his answers were given in a shaky voice, but he continued to answer my questions. He sounded like it was not the first time he had answered a police officer's questions. I then told him we had located his position and police officers were entering the building where he was to take him into custody.

At that point I heard the phone fall to the floor and the scurrying of his running away.

As I returned to our dinner table, my wife asked me why I had tears streaming down my face. So help me, I couldn't tell her for about fifteen minutes. My meal was now cold, but it was the best meal I had eaten in a long, long time.

It has helped me in winter and during allergy seasons for years now - thank goodness.

I'll check with Marta to see if we have any Chery.

I have to go get my annual eye inspection for diabetes tomorrow, I certainly hope this pain goes away before they blast my eyes.....owwwww!

I think I sent you that Telemarketer one Cher, or if I didn't, I have read it anyway. I love that one. Too funny! I usually ask them what time they have dinner, and if I can call them back at their home number later. I've actually said alot of crazy things to them. I remember one time saying (this was a man) Grandma? Is that you? You've been dead for yrs! Where are you calling from? Have you met God?...and I just go on asking crazy questions. They will normally just hang up and not call again. I love screwin with em! LOL!

Thanks Stringer. I figured that it would probably be too much to say the way you feel right now. I'm surprised you can even read all of it - so glad you are hanging in there honey.

I got it from my completelyfreesoftware.com site. They send me newsletters once a week and tell me what new software they acquired - and at the end of these newletters there's always a Joke of the Week. I'm a life-time member there and can download anything for free.
It has not gotten so bad here in Germany yet with the telemarketing and my phone number is not listed in any phonebook. But when I lived with my brother in Vegas, I had a bit of fun with those jerks too. Sorry, I'm sure they need the money otherwise they would not do it, but it really gets on one's nerves.

Someone told me my voice sounded sexy on the phone and that I would really make money on a sex hotline.. can you imagine little old me doing this? I'd have a lot of fun laughing though and not make much money. I bet I could get a few customers to laugh right along with me, come to think of it...

Albear, and starby, I get notifications, but not all replies are listed when I go to my profile and look. I have to remember the threads and cannot mark them for some reason. Oh well, I'm sure it will get fixed soon. I also wish there was a spell-checker on this editor, darn it!

I promised my grandson that I would call him, so I am going to do that now. When we were in the car for a few minutes today, he told me to 'sit' (put on sealbelt) so he was telling me he wanted me to go with them. Too bad I could not this evening. I promised I'd see them this weekend though, sick or not, I really need my supply of hugs - and if a supply of germs come along with that package, I don't care - I'll manage because I miss them hugs!

C.U. later...

You are right Stringer darling, and I'm blessed with two super families.
AMHD is one of them! Just like all families, we have our ups and downs, but the love is always there!

Correctomondo my Chery.

Chery, we do not have horseraddish in this house, Marta is going to stop and get some today? Now, I am to swallow a teaspoon of this "stuff?" Tell me, how does it taste, is it strong, will it burn my widdle mouth?
