5 Best movies of all time

what are the 5 best movies you ever saw? your 5 favourite movies, and why?

for me, it would have to be
The Shawshank redemption- a powerful movie, with a powerful message of freedom and stuff

The Prestige- makes my head hurt, its so intricate and scary if you think about it too much

On The Beach- a movie about nuclear disaster, and the end of the human race, such a sad movie, about love, death, and false hope. Made me wish i had a little blue pill to end it all actually......

Rocky- ADRIAAAAN!!!! awesome, inspiring movie. just so awesome.

My Dog Skip- made me cry first time i saw it, when i was younger, first movie ever to make me cry, wonderful movie, about a boy, and surprise surprise, his dog.

Oh well,my input:

Shawshank Redemption,
Amadeus,
Master and Commander,
The Lord Of The Rings,
Annie Hall.

Why?

Shawshank is brilliantly acted,written,photographed.A masterpiece.
Master and Commander,is Gladiator at sea
Lord of The Rings.New Zealand,New Zealand,New Zealand.....
Annie Hall, simply Woody Allen's funniest film.
And Amadeus,because it was filmed in Prague,the costumes look amazing,and F.Murray Abraham,is a brilliant actor,when given a "good" role.

The Godfather, Casino, and Good Fellas are all awesome. I loved Blow with Johnny Depp, True Romance is also another great one for me, the Wizard of Oz is a tried and true favorite, and Amadeus was incredible!! The Color Purple and Shawshank were also really great movies and finally, my 80's movies: St. Elmo's Fire, The Breakfast Club and Sixteen Candles were all part of my turbulent youth that I loved!!!! I could go on but I went wayyy past five already. This is hard!!
